About Me
As a busy professional singer, I have over 20 years top-level experience, performing a diverse range of repertoire worldwide.
This has provided invaluable insights which inform my teaching philosophy:
I am passionate about empowering singers to reach their full potential, alongside helping and rehabilitating those who are experiencing vocal difficulties, while equipping all my clients with the tools to maintain and improve their own vocal abilities in a holistic and healthy fashion.
I am a certified Vocal Habilitation Specialist through Vocal Health Education, with additional training in Mindfulness for Singers, and a qualified and insured Vocal Massage Therapist. I continue in-depth studies of vocal techniques and anatomy, including a Masters in Vocal Pedagogy focussing on the female voice.
I am the vocal coach for the NYCGB and Genesis Sixteen, a singing teacher at Somerville College, Oxford, and have private studios in Sussex and London. I am a member of The Sixteen with whom I have toured and recorded extensively, both as an ensemble member and soloist. I am also a proud member of the holistic team at Valentine Voice Care Clinic in Lewes, Sussex.
